- Daylight Saving Time
- We go onto Daylight Saving Time in the spring (2nd Sunday in March); clocks are set ahead one hour, and we lose an hour of sleep.
We lose an hour of daylight in the morning, and gain an hour of daylight in the evening.
Sunrise and sunset are an hour later.
If you forget to change your clocks,
you'll be an hour late for church on Sunday.
- We go back to Standard Time in the fall (1st Sunday in November); clocks are set back one hour, and we get an extra hour of sleep.
We gain an hour of daylight in the morning, and lose an hour of daylight in the evening.
Sunrise and sunset are an hour earlier.
If you forget to change your clocks,
you'll be an hour early for church on Sunday.
