FLAT STANLEY: 4. WASHINGTON MONUMENT
4. The Washington Monument. This is a really tall monument that was built to honor George Washington, the first president of the United States. It's really tall — 555 feet high! You can go inside and take an elevator all the way to the top. You can see the Lincoln Memorial way down in the lower-right corner of the picture.
